3,345 high performance computing practitioners and enthusiasts from over 50 countries have made their way into Frankfurt, Germany as of Sunday, to attend the 2019 ISC High Performance conference and exhibition. A total of over 3,500 attendees are expected at this year’s show. Now in its 34th year, this mid-year event is Europe’s largest HPC forum and prides itself on the international scope and diversity of its attendees.
ISC High Performance is very pleased to announce that Aurelio Vivas a Master of Science research assistant in Computer Engineering at the Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia, and Molly Nkamogelang Kgobathe, a post-graduate researcher and teaching assistant at the University of Botswana, have been selected as the ISC Travel Grant recipients this year. They have been chosen out of 62 regional and international applications.
We are happy to announce two papers have been chosen as finalists for this year’s Hans Meuer Award, which honors the most outstanding research paper submitted to the ISC High Performance Conference. The award was introduced in 2015 in memory of the late Dr. Hans Meuer, general chair of the ISC conference from 1986 through 2014, and co-founder of the TOP500 project.
